The Media Gangsta Series

Well I finally got around to configuring my Linksys WRT54G wireless router for Shareaza, I must admit it works 100% faster with the UDP ports forwarding. I’ve been able to pull the full 3Mbps out of my cable connection now, which is sweet, and a ton of the DMusic music that I am sharing it getting downloaded, over 40 Mb in the last 10 min.

Also in school for Computer Generated Art II I created a spoof to the iPod adds, in a collection that I call The Media Gangsta Series. All three are spoofs of the iPod, iPod Photo, and the iPod Shuffle. I introduced the iPod 45 (Also has a reference to a song by Afroman); a combination of a Colt 45 and an iPod, the iPod Flask; a combination of a flask for alcoholic beverages and an iPod photo ad, the iPod Grenade; a combination of a hand grenade and iPod Shuffle. A note that I think the iPod shuffle is the stupidest idea of all time. The three are arranged vertically on a white background with 10px borders of white, and the phrase “The Media Gangsta Series” at the bottom with the M replaced with my M logo. So check it out, download it if you wish. I am planning on making it available for print on daPrints.

I was going to post something on [Kobra] vidz and some other stuff, but I’ll do that tomorrow.
